Family dynamics
The roles we take on at home, the words left unsaid, and the love that can feel complicated.
ONLINE PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING
Counselling for teens, adolescents and young adults — held gently, at a pace that feels safe. Healing happens in connection, and you don't have to travel this stretch of the path alone.
How we travel together
Sahayatri means co-traveller. That is what I hope to be for you — not someone walking ahead with a map, but someone walking beside you, matching your pace, noticing what you notice, and staying with you through the parts of the path that feel steep or unfamiliar.
My practice is deeply relational. Before anything else, we build a foundation of trust and safety: a place where you can be seen, heard and understood without needing to explain yourself twice. Together we make meaning of your past and present experiences, sit with the quiet moments, and let the questions arise in their own time. Some of it is tender, some of it is uncomfortable — and all of it moves at a pace you set.
You don't have to carry it all alone, and you don't have to pretend you're okay when you're not.
Healing feels lighter when someone walks with you!
Joy, sadness, anger, worry, quiet — none of them are a problem to be solved. They are information about what matters to you, and all of them can sit in this room.
For teens & adolescents
Being a teenager or young adult can feel like standing in the middle of a storm everyone else pretends is just a breeze. Group chats that go quiet. Exams that feel like the whole future. Headphones on so the house gets smaller. Scrolling at 2am because sleep won't come. Friendships that shift overnight, crushes that consume your whole chest, and the exhausting question of whether you are enough — cool enough, smart enough, loved enough.
You might be carrying pressure from family expectations, the weight of choosing a path, or a loneliness that shows up even in a room full of people. Maybe your body is changing and your mind feels like it is racing ten steps ahead. Maybe you are questioning who you are, who you like, or what you actually want. Maybe you have been told to "just relax" or "wait it out," and that has only made you feel more alone.
Therapy is not a punishment, a last resort, or something only for when things fall apart. It is a space that belongs to you — where you can say the messy, confusing, embarrassing things out loud without being judged, fixed, or lectured. Having someone steady beside you while you figure things out can make the hard parts feel less overwhelming and the good parts feel more possible. Reaching out is not a weakness; it is a way of taking yourself seriously, maybe for the first time.
What you can bring here
You are welcome here with whatever you are carrying. Much of our work gathers around family dynamics, attachment and early childhood patterns, stress, loneliness, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, and the ongoing journey of self-exploration — though nothing you bring is too small or too tangled to begin with.
The roles we take on at home, the words left unsaid, and the love that can feel complicated.
How the earliest relationships quietly shape the way we reach for closeness today.
The weight of expectation, academic and work pressure, and a nervous system that rarely rests.
Feeling unseen even in a room full of people, and the longing to be truly known.
Friendships, partnerships and boundaries — how we connect, withdraw, and repair.
Feelings that arrive too loudly or go quiet altogether, and learning to stay with them.
The ongoing, unhurried journey of understanding who you are and who you are becoming.
There is no right moment to begin. If something here felt familiar, that is enough of a reason to reach out.
