Hi!

I'm a Counselling Psychologist and your Sahayatri! I love food, sunflowers and puppies. Outside of the therapy room, you'll likely find me cooking new recipes, drawing, binging comic shows or just sipping coffee!

The road here

How I found this work

Where it began

My career is rooted in a deep-seated passion for human connection and community welfare. Grounded in a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Development, I began in the social sector at an NGO in Mumbai, facilitating play-based sessions for children from underserved communities — witnessing how meaningful it was to bring a smile to even one child's face.

A detour

Curious about the broader landscape of social impact, I moved into research, working as a Research Analyst on philanthropy in India. Yet my ultimate dream was always to work in mental health, directly with individuals — so I pivoted, earning a Diploma in Integrative Counselling followed by a Master's in Counselling Psychology.

Where I am now

Today I bring one profound belief to my practice: true healing happens in connection. Guided by compassion, togetherness and a fundamental desire to be there for others, I see mental health care as a purposeful space to walk alongside people.

Who I sit with

Much of what we carry was shaped in relationship, and so it makes sense that it softens in relationship too. The journey of healing is rarely a straight line. It is often a winding path of unlearning, rediscovering, and making sense of the stories we carry. I believe that no one should have to navigate these chapters alone. I offer a warm, steady space — somewhere you can put things down and be met exactly as you are. As a co-traveler and companion on your path, my role is to walk alongside you — offering a gentle presence as we explore the quiet moments and the complex questions together.

I work primarily with teens, adolescents and young adults: people in the middle of becoming, often holding more than anyone around them realizes. My approach is gentle and collaborative rather than expert-led. I won't hand you conclusions about your own life; we'll arrive at them together.

Person-Centered Approach

You are the expert of your own experience. This approach honors your inner world, offering empathy, acceptance, and genuine connection as the foundation for growth.

Psychodynamic & Relational Approach

We explore how past relationships and unconscious patterns shape the present. Understanding these threads can bring clarity to repeated stories and open space for new ways of relating.

Attachment Theory

By looking at early bonds and emotional safety, we make sense of how connection and distance show up in your life — and gently reshape patterns toward more secure relating.

Emotion-Focused Therapy

Emotions carry important messages. Here, we listen to them with curiosity, helping you access, understand, and move through feelings in a way that feels safe and healing.

How we work together

In our early sessions we explore what brings you here and what you hope for. From there, our work involves making meaning of your past and present experiences — the patterns you keep returning to, the relationships that shaped you, the parts of yourself you've had to keep quiet.

Therapy can be deeply rewarding, and it can also mean sitting with uncomfortable feelings and memories. We move slowly and deliberately, co-creating a space that feels safe enough to be honest in.

Sessions

Each session is 50 minutes, held online, from wherever you feel most at ease.

Rhythm

We usually meet weekly. Consistency gives the work somewhere steady to grow from.

Confidentiality

What you share stays between us, with the few ethical and legal exceptions we'll go through together before we begin.

Accessibility

A limited sliding scale is available if cost is a barrier. We can talk about it openly in our first meeting.

Full details on the process, confidentiality and the cancellation policy are shared in a consent form before our first session.
